BIOGRAPHY

Mohammad Hamad is a New York City–based nonprofit leader and scholar with over a decade of experience in professional and leadership development within mission-driven organizations. He currently serves as Managing Director of Quality & Evaluation at the Hudson Guild, a social service agency where he leads organizational learning, impact assessment, and continuous improvement efforts in support of community-based programming. Mohammad is currently a doctoral student in the EdD in Leadership and Innovation program at NYU Steinhardt, where his academic interests intersect across leadership development, urban development, and social justice. He also serves as a Board of Director for Heritage of Pride and leads the organization’s Diversity, Equity, Accessibility and Inclusion (DEAI) Committee. As a Social Impact Research Fellow, his work is informed by a strong commitment to equitable systems, community empowerment, and internationalist perspectives on education and development.
